Blue Planet Reef Farms is the first company in the U.S. which specializes in servicing the aquarium industry with Aquarium Reared fish and, soon, Cultured Corals. We believe that combining sustainable collection methods with captive-rearing of juvenile species is the future of the marine ornamental industry. This process provides your customers with livestock which will thrive in their tanks, and will also allow you to virtually eliminate losses of fish and corals in your facility.

Our facility in Vermont utilizes some of the best filtration, control and monitoring systems the industry has to offer. Our state-of-the-art system, combined with a highly-trained workforce enables us to acclimate and convert even the most difficult of fish and corals to live under artificial conditions. By the time an animal leaves our facility, not only is it used to eating prepared foods, but is also socialized to humans and caregivers. This translates to drastically reduced mortality at your facility and in customer's tanks.

Our Experience

Our staff, which includes full-time biologists and zoologists, is experienced in breeding, acclimating, rearing and caring for all marine life. We understand that you, our customers, are the most important assets of our business and we are committed to deliver second-to-none customer service. We only sell to dealers and are not open to the general public. We welcome school visits that are geared to educating and the raising of awareness of the care for our reefs.
